Dean's Message

"The faculty and staff of the College of Fine Arts and Communications teach students to think, to feel, to perform, and to communicate. Their purpose is to give students the knowledge and skills requisite to a higher education in fine arts and communications. They open doors to the world of truth and beauty for exploration by majors and non-majors alike. Work in this college requires discipline, critical analysis, research, empathy, and integrity as the means to acquire knowledge and competency in various areas of study encompassed by the departments of Dance,    Theatre and Media Arts, Communications, Visual Arts, the School of Music, and Museum of Art."                                                                                             - Dean Stephen Jones
