Lectures and Symposia

The Museum of Art hosts lectures and symposia throughout the year.  Lectures feature important individuals in the national and international art community.  Symposia programming generally accompanies current exhibitions.  All lectures and symposia are free and open to the public.  For a listing of upcoming lectures and symposia please click HERE.

Second Saturdays: Family Art Workshops

Every second Saturday of the month families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art activity free-of-charge.

Programming is appropriate for children ages 4-9 yrs.

Van Gogh to Play Dough: Art for Toddlers

Every Tuesday from 10:00 am -11:00 a.m. children ages 2-3 years and their caregivers are invited to the MOA to learn more about the museum’s current exhibitions.

Music at Midday

Every Friday local musicians will perform in the Ernst F. Lied, Ernst M. and Ida K. Lied Gallery from 12:00-1:30 pm.  Come enjoy live music while strolling through the galleries or enjoying a light lunch at the MOA Cafe.  Music at Midday is free and open to the public.

MUSIC AT MIDDAY IS CANCELLED THROUGH THE MONTH FEBRUARY.
